Allyship Workshops

2020 has been a tough year and has highlighted injustices - thats 400 plus years of injustices and how fragile our lives are. What we can take away from 2020 is that money can’t buy the most important things - health, family, friends and the injustices that have carried on for hundreds of years against Black and Brown people have to stop! We have seen through the BLM protests how everyone regardless of race has come together. It has also highlighted the good in the world and the action that non-Black and Brown people want to take in order to ensure that change comes soon. For me Allyship is a lifelong commitment with no end goal except to keep showing up and growing! I have seen demand for the Allyship Workshop grow and there is no better time to take it but NOW as the year ends so you can continue to put what you have learnt into action - so you can be an ACTIVE Ally. Allyship Workshop Dates:

November 10am-12:30 25th, 26th, 30th 6pm-8:30pm: 26th December 10am-12:30: 1st, 2nd, 4th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 21st 6pm-8:30pm: 2nd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th Workshop Outline - Introduction -Allyship - What does it mean? -The Importance of an Ally -What it means to be an Ally -The roles Allies Play -Microaggressions -Becoming a Change Agent Delivery is through a mixture of methods, in a safe space and involves delegates in group exercises and discussions. Training is practical and interactive. Discount is available for groups over 5 people. I also have the Allyship Book Club which I launched earlier this month and we are currently at over 100 members.
