Service Description

This course is aimed at everyone who want an in-depth understanding of Allyship, what it means to be an Ally and actions to take to become an Active Ally. The topics below will be explored using interactive multimedia resources (Videos, polls, etc) which not only introduce and define key concepts but also provide learners with the opportunity to engage with one another in facilitated group discussion: Workshop Outline -Introductions -Establishing the Why? - Why is this conversation important? - The interplay of power and influence, recognising that for there to be impactful change there needs to be a redistribution of power - Bias - understanding that we all have bias - Privilege -Microaggressions -Allyship - What does it mean? -The Importance of an Ally -The roles Allies Play -Becoming a Change Agent Delivery is through a mixture of methods and involves delegates in group exercises and discussions.
